Community Partners

At DePaul University Steans Center, we value the relationship with our community partners as being the cornerstone of our work. "Community-based Service Learning," implies that a significant portion of the learning that takes place with service-learning happens at community-based organizations and non-profit organizations. We view our relationship as "educational partnerships," where the community organizations we work with share in the role of educating our students. We work with our community partners in order to make every effort to assure the service that our students and faculty provide support and add value to the important work that the organization does.
